I’m interested in your Colour Lab service - what is it?

Our Colour Lab service will change the colour of your iDevice to match your design created in our online 'Colour Lab'.

There are many different processes to Colour Lab your iDevice and these processes vary from device to device.


Does the Colour Lab fix my broken iDevice?

iPhone 6 and 6 Plus
The Colour Lab replaces the back housing which includes the sides and back of the device.

iPhone 4S & iPhone 4
The Colour Lab service will fix a broken front / back screen on the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 at no additional repair cost.

New iPad 3 & iPad 2
The Colour Lab service will fix a broken front screen on the New iPad 3 and iPad 2 at no additional repair cost.


What if there are additional repairs needed that I haven’t ordered?

If our diagnosis test shows that there is more wrong with your iDevice than you have ordered we will contact you. We won’t carry out the initial repairs or any further work until you have been informed of the situation.

If you order a Colour Lab with us you will be eligible for our ’60% Discount’ against multiple repairs to the same iDevice.


How long will my Colour Lab take?

iPhone 6 and 6 Plus
We allow 1-2 working days to complete the Colour Lab service from the point of receiving your device as long as the Colour Lab part is personalised and ready to fit. We will notify you once this is ready and would not want you to send your device to us before this time.

iPhone 4S & iPhone 4
iPhone Colour Lab’s are completed the day we receive the iPhone. Exceptions to this are if the desired unique Colour Lab combination is temporarily unavailable. In this instance we would advise you before picking up / asking you to post your iPhone.

New iPad 3 & iPad 2
We allow 2 days to start and complete iPad Colour Lab’s.

Please note that whilst we try our very hardest to stick to these repair timeframes it is not always possible. If you urgently need a quick repair or Colour Lab please make us aware after placing your order.


Can I just Colour Lab one part of my iDevice and not the full service?

Each and every Colour Lab includes the full service. We don’t offer the option to split the Colour Lab into parts e.g. just the front or just the back.

If you are an existing customer that requires a replacement part please contact us.

What guarantee do I get with my Colour Lab?

We give a full 90 day warranty against all of our repairs and our Colour Lab service. This warranty covers the parts used in the service.


How do I get my iDevice to you?

You can either post it to us or use our ’Express Pickup Service’.

How do I get my iDevice back after repair?

You are welcome to visit us to pickup your iDevice or we can send it to you by guaranteed next day, tracked, signed for and insured mail.

I don’t trust my iDevice in the post :(

As outlined in our 'Sending Your iDevice' and 'Returning Your iDevice' sections we have full, private in transit insurance.

If your iDevice gets lost or damaged in transit we will either replace it ‘like for like’ (a replacement device of a similar age and condition) or fix the additional damage at no additional charge to you.


What if you damage my iDevice during the Colour Lab process?

After we have run our diagnosis test on your iDevice it is openly available for download by you. This diagnosis sheet outlines exactly what is wrong with your iDevice and what it will take to get it fully functional again.

If our highly skilled engineers cause any damage to your iDevice after diagnosis (during repair or Colour Lab) this will be repaired at no additional cost to you.
br> If we can’t test certain functions of your device for whatever reason before carrying out our service then we aren’t to be held liable if they do not work afterwards e.g. you don’t provide your passcode lock which means we can’t test your wifi signal.


I can’t be without my iDevice!

We understand that nowadays most people would rather be without a limb for a couple of days than their iDevice!

It is for this reason we keep our turnaround times as short and sharp as possible.
